Heritage & Design
I am a second-generation builder. My career started as a carpenter in my hometown of Marblehead, and I later grew a following in the nearby city of Salem, where I decided to start my business alongside my father. My education was split between the physical demands of the job site and a burgeoning interest in architectural design. I was fortunate to work alongside both a master architect and my father, a master carpenter, on many notable historic homes. From these mentors, I developed an expertise that is rare in the modern construction world. I take pride in understanding both the structural soul and the aesthetic intent that defines every home.
A Legacy of Restoration
My career, in many ways, has been propelled by the gravity of the projects I have been trusted to manage. I take pride in the fact that I was able to take the lead on America’s oldest continuously inhabited home (est. 1660), serving as the general contractor and carpenter for its historic kitchen restoration. I’ve built a reputation for the ability to recreate the custom millwork of the historic McIntire District, which allowed me to develop, through experience, a skillset to bridge the 300-year gap between hand-hewn history and spare-no-expense modern luxury
Hands-On Approach
Founded in 2020, Star Builders was built on a hands-on leadership model required in custom building. While modern construction often suffers from a disconnect between the office and the job site, I operate at the intersection of both, eliminating the overhead that larger companies pass on to their clients. It’s the same person managing your investment who is ensuring the quality of every finish detail.
